About Me

I started blogging way back in March of 2005. I thought it would be a good way to keep my family and friends who are strewn across the nation up to date on what we are up to. That, and I am the world's suckiest emailer backer. It's not that I don't love you. I do. Really. I'm just kinda sorta lazy and pretty busy too, what with all the world travel I do and parades I have grand marshal. You can understand my dilemma, right?

Somewhere along the line, I realized that I actually enjoying writing and telling stories. Now I overshare really embarrassing stories about myself, like the time I almost sent Ava to school with a hot pink thong (mine) stuck to her coat. I'm clearly not very bright.

I tend to keep it light here because I'm not big on sharing my emotions. *shudder* Issues! I have issues! I'm also a hopeless smart ass, so a lot of that occurs too. Sometimes I even like to post really bad pictures of myself and others from the 80's. I had some awesome New Wave hair and I liked The Cure. Let your imagination run wild.

I'm married to Chris. He rocks and truly is my soul mate. I *heart* him. We are like peanut butter and jelly, chips and salsa or gay bars and really good dance music... We are just meant to be together. We have two kidlets: Griffin and Ava. They rock too, but sometimes they drive me (and Chris too) a bit nuts. Parenting is an interesting ride. Don't you agree? The amazing highs and the holy-shit-oh-my-God-what-is-happening-nows. They keep us on our toes and make us laugh a lot.
